How do I create an A/B Test for a landing page?

To create an A/B Test for a landing page:

  1. In the main menu, click the Landing Pages link
  2. Click the Create New Landing Page button
  3. Select A/B Test
  4. Enter the landing page name
  5. Select the test variable (time or number of visits)
    1. If you select time, set the duration of the test (x minutes, days, or weeks)
    2. If you select visits, set the number of visits before the test should end
  6. Select how the winning version will be determined (by clicks or conversions)
  7. Click the Create button
  8. Select a template for the first landing page variant or choose to start from scratch
  1. In the Landing Page Designer, select the Page Settings tab
  2. Go to the Customize Page URL field and edit your page URL (optional)
  3. Fill out the SEO Attribute fields
  4. Enter your Google Analytics ID and/or Facebook Pixel ID (optional)
  5. Select the button(s) or form(s) you want to use to track conversions
  6. Select the Design tab, and design/create your first landing page
  1. Click the Variant B tab
  2. Select a template for the second landing page variant or choose to start from scratch
  3. In the Landing Page Designer, fill in the info under Page Settings
  1. Select the Design tab, and design/create your second landing page
  1. Click the Save button if you are not ready to Publish the landing page variants or click Publish to make the landing page variants live.
  2. Drive traffic to your page with an email, social ads, search advertising, etc.

When visitors go to the landing page URL they will be randomly presented with either Variant A or Variant B. The test will run until the number of visits has been reached or the time set expires. Then a winning landing page will be determined by the selected criteria.
