How do I give refunds for ticket purchases?


As the event organizer there are two ways you can refund a ticket purchase. When refunding a ticket purchase you can only refund the entire order. You cannot refund individual tickets within an order. Also, the refund will be for the full order price, including fees.

From the Event Detail page:

  1. Click the Ticket Buyers tab
  2. Locate the Ticket Buyer you will be refunding
  3. In the Actions column, click the three dots and select Refund from the drop-down
  4. Click Ok to confirm you want to issue a refund to the Ticket Buyer
  5. The Ticket Buyer’s Status will change to Refunded 

From your WePay Dashboard:

  1. Go to
  2. Click the Sign In button
  3. Enter your WePay user name and password and click the Log In button
  4. You will be directed to your WePay dashboard.
  5. Locate the person you want to give a refund to
  6. Click on the Payment From [Name] link
  7. Click the Issue Refund button
  8. Click the Confirm button to confirm you want to issue a refund
